PDICars ("we", "us", "our") is India's trusted car pre-delivery inspection platform, operating at pdicars.com. We offer a free PDI checklist tool, expert inspection bookings, and a car protection guide.

Information you provide directly

• Name, phone number, and email - when you book an expert or contact us
• Car model and city - when you use our PDI tool or book an expert
• Payment information - processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store card details.

Information collected automatically

• Browser type, device type, and IP address - for analytics and security
• Pages visited and time spent - through anonymised Google Analytics
• Cookies - for session management and analytics (see Section 6)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To book and coordinate expert inspections
• To deliver course materials after purchase
• To respond to support queries
• To send service-related updates (not marketing, unless you opt in)
• To improve our tool and content based on anonymous usage data

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We share data only with:

• PDI Experts - your name, car model, and dealer address are shared with the expert assigned to your booking
• Razorpay - our payment processor, operating under their own Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics - anonymised usage data only, no personally identifiable information

5. Data Retention

We retain your booking and purchase information for 3 years for legal compliance. Support queries are retained for 12 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and process payments, and analytics cookies to understand how our tool is used. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting the service.

7. Your Rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data we hold
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications

8. Security

We use SSL encryption across our entire website. Payment processing is handled by Razorpay, which is PCI DSS compliant. We conduct periodic security reviews of our systems.
